Under Article 40, No. 5, of Decree-Law No. 73/2020, which establishes the legal framework for the exercise of commercial fishing activities, license renewal is subject to the provision of data within the scope of data collection and management in the fishing sector, as provided for in Regulation (EU) No. 2017/1004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of May 17, 2017.

Submission of this survey is mandatory for the purpose of renewing your fishing license for 2026.

If you do not submit the survey by the deadline of September 15, 2025, you will be notified of the intention to deny the renewal of your fishing license for 2026, under the Code of Administrative Procedure.
