Considering the catch data of the Portuguese fleet of Bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus) in the Atlantic Ocean, east of longitude 45° W, and the Mediterranean, it is reported that the quota reserved for by-catches is nearly exhausted. Therefore, as from 00:00 hours on 7 April, no by-catch of this species will be allowed and no E-BCDs of catches taken after that date will be validated.
