According to the available data, the discharges made and the quantities on board vessels authorized to catch swordfish (Xiphias gladius), as by-catch, in the Atlantic Ocean south of 5º North, the allocated fishing quota pursuant to subparagraph b) of article 3 of Ordinance No. 90/2013, of February 28, in its current wording, is exauted.

In this context, under paragraph b) of nº 1 of article 7 of the aforementioned Ordinance, the by-catch of swordfish in the Atlantic Ocean to the south of 5º North, is prohibited from 00:00h on June 7th, 2021.
