Considering the data on the catches made by the Portuguese fleet, of emperors (Beryx spp.) in the waters of the Union and international waters of sub-zones 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,12 and 14 of ICES, the provisional fishing quota allocated to vessels registered in mainland ports until 31 July, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2021/91, of 28 January, amended by Regulation (EU) 2021/703 of 26 April, is exhausted, therefore, according to paragraph 1 of article 3 of Ordinance No. 161/2017, of May 15, fishing, maintenance on board, transhipment, landing, offering for sale or sale of these set of species, captured by vessels registered in mainland ports, is prohibited from 00:00 hours on June 17, until the available quota is increased.
