Dispatch nº41/DG/2021 was published, establishing new management measures for sardine fishing, to be applied from 00:00h on October 4th:

The daily limits for unloading and/or offering sardines for sale, provided for in subparagraphs a), b) and c) of paragraph 3 of Order No. 4626/2021, are now as follows:

a) Vessels with an overall length of less than or equal to 9 m — 1,800 kilos (80 hampers, when applicable);

b) Vessels with an overall length exceeding 9 m and less than or equal to 16m — 3,600 kilos (160 hampers, where applicable);

c) Vessels with an overall length exceeding 16 m — 5,400 kilos (240 hampers, where applicable).

In the limits indicated before, a maximum of 675 kilos (30 hampers, when applicable) of sardines calibrated as T4, regardless of the existence of other size classes.
