For the due purposes, it is hereby informed that, considering the data on the catches made by the Portuguese fleet, of Black Swordfish (Aphanopus carbo) in the Union and international waters of subzones 8, 9, 10 (BSF/8910), the quota utilization has reached 80% and it may be necessary to close this fishery in the near future.
