Announcement Public Consultation - Proposal for a contract for planning: Exploitation of offshore renewable energies

The Ministry of the Sea is currently in the process of drawing up an allocation plan at the initiative of the interested parties following the presentation of a proposal for a contract for development by the company BayWa RE Projects España, SLU, as established in article 30. º of Decree-Law no. 38/2015, of 12 March. The proposed contract for planning presented aims to prepare an allocation plan with the objective of allowing the commercial exploitation of renewable energies in the area identified in the National Maritime Space Planning Situation Plan (PSOEM), approved through the Resolution of the Council of Ministers n.º 203-A/2019, of 30 December, as a “potential area for the installation of renewable energies”, and determines that with its approval, the corresponding title of private use of the space is assigned to the company identified above. national maritime.

It is hereby informed that, for the purposes of article 32 of Decree-Law no. of the same diploma, are available on the websites of the Directorate-General for Natural Resources, Security and Maritime Services (read more) and of the Directorate-General for Maritime Policy (www.dgpm.mm.gov.pt) and which will be subject of Public Consultation for 15 working days, from February 9 to March 2, 2022, on the ConsultaLEX Portal (consultalex.gov.pt).

In accordance with the provisions of article 32 of Decree-Law no. 38/2015, of 12 March, suggestions or information that may be considered in the preparation of the allocation plan will be considered within the scope of the Public Consultation process, as well as expressions of interest for the development of the use or activity contained in the contract proposal for planning, or for the development of conflicting uses or activities, sent exclusively through the ConsultaLEX portal.
