The National Institute of Statistics (INE) and the Directorate-General for Natural Resources, Security and Maritime Services (DGRM) publish the yearbook “Fishing Statistics 2021”, within the scope of institutional collaboration, which aims to produce and disseminate the official statistics of the fishing sector.

This edition thus comprehensively reflects the image of the Fisheries sector in 2021, in its different components.

The publication consists of nine thematic chapters, each of which includes the analysis of results and the respective data.

INE and DGRM thank all those who made this publication possible, as well as all the entities that provided the information in a timely manner.
