On May 25, 2022, students from the Computer Networks and Systems course, from Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henriques (ENIDH), visited the Maritime Control and Traffic Center, in Paço De Arcos.

The Operations Division Chief of Maritime Traffic Control, Ana Faneca, made a presentation about the Center and explained the technology used to collect information and monitor coastal maritime traffic.

Afterwards, the students were able to observe in practice how the communication and traffic monitoring systems (VTS) work.
