DGRM was in Brunswick's expansion in Vila Nova de Cerveira

The Deputy Director-General of DGRM, Susana Baptista, accompanied by Ana Tonilhas, from the recreational nautical area in this Directorate-General, and by João Silva, advisor at the Secretary of State for the Sea, were present today at the inauguration of the multinational's new industrial ship. Brunswick, which is the world's largest producer of leisure and pleasure craft, reinforcing its presence in Portugal through the expansion of the industrial unit located in Vila Nova de Cerveira.


The event was attended by the President and Vice President of the Municipality of Cerveira, as well as the Executive Vice President of the Brunswick Boat Group.


Brunswick Portugal is a fast-growing company, which currently has around 900 employees. The new building will add a total area of ??5,200 m2, of which 4,000 m2 will be used to support production and 1,200 m2, on the upper floor, will be used for administrative areas, as well as social areas for workers, to whom the Director of Operations, Alain Afonso, thanked him personally for his essential contribution to the success of the company. This project will allow the Portuguese subsidiary to increase its production and logistics capacity, also contributing to the dynamism of the region.
