DGRM started the 2022 maintenance dredging at the Port of Vila Praia de Âncora, under the multi-annual contract for maintenance dredging in the northern fishing ports.

The present operation includes the dredging of 30,000 m3 of sediments from the bar and inlet channel, restoring the operational conditions of the port.

The sediments to be dredged fall into class 1, and their immersion in the coastal drift zone is expected at the location defined in the contract and in the PSOEM.

An execution period of 30 days is foreseen.
