Considering catches data of Beryx (Beryx spp.) made by the Portuguese fleet in Union and international waters of sub-zones 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,12 and 14 of ICES, the fishing quota allocated to vessels registered in mainland ports is exhausted.

Thus, in accordance with paragraph 1 of article 3 of Ordinance No. 161/2017, of May 15, fishing, maintenance on board, transhipment, disembarkation, offering for sale or sale of the aforementioned species, is prohibited in the above-mentioned sub-zones, captured by vessels registered in mainland ports, from 00:00 hours on august 9^th.
