Upon proposal by ANOPCERCO of July 28th, pursuant to article 11(3) of Ordinance No. 218/2023, of July 19th, which defines the legal regime for fishing by seine gear, the periods of prohibition of fishing for fence established in paragraph 2 of article 11 of Ordinance nº 218/2023, of July 19, to come into force on August 4, 2023, are now the following:
a)    From Caminha to Figueira da Foz: from 00:00 am on Saturday to 00:00 am on Monday;
b)    From Nazaré to Lisbon: from 12:00 pm on Saturday to 12:00 pm on Monday;
c)    Setúbal and Sines: from 8 pm on Friday to 8 pm on Sunday;
d)    Lagos, Portimão and Sagres: from 6 pm on Friday to 6 pm on Sunday;
e)    From Faro to Vila Real de Santo António: from 6 pm on Friday to 6 pm on Sunday.
Thus, the prohibition periods for purse seine fishing, established under Ordinance No. 251/2010, of May 4, are standardized with the prohibition periods for purse seine fishing.
