Yachtsman Licences, issued by DGRM, can now be accessed through the gov.pt app, the digital wallet that allows you to manage official documents in a simple and secure way.

The Yachtsman Licence, requested at the Online Sea Desk (www.bmar.pt), includes all the holder's essential data, such as personal identification, rank and competence. With the integration into the gov.pt app, yachtsman can download and present their official licence directly on their mobile phone, quickly, conveniently and securely, facilitating the verification of its validity and authenticity by the authorities in situations where is required. 

Developed by the Agency for Technological Reform of the State (ARTE), the gov.pt application integrates into a single channel features previously distributed across several digital platforms, such as ID.gov and Autenticação.gov. This centralisation allows citizens to access digital public services more conveniently.
Among the app's main features is the availability of 27 official documents in digital format with legal validity, notably the Citizen Card and Driving Licence.

The gov.pt app is an initiative funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) and NextGenerationEU.
