Exceptional and temporary compensation scheme for increased production costs of the fishing fleet and aquaculture.

 Until May 31, 2024

The following can apply for the exceptional regime:
a) fishing professionals holding the title that grants the right to operate a fishing vessel registered in the continental territory and licensed to carry out the activity in 2024;
b) holders of aquaculture establishments holding an aquaculture activity permit valid for 2024.

And that satisfy the following conditions:
a) Have proven activity for a minimum of 20 days of activity, consecutive or interpolated, in the last 6 months from the date of publication of Ordinance 120A, of March 27th, in the case of vessels, to be confirmed by the Directorate-General for Resources Natural Resources, Security and Maritime Services (DGRM)

Applications are submitted via onlineDesk - Balcão Eletrónico do Mar (BMar):

1. Open www.bmar.pt, please register and log in;
2. Press the New Request button, choose the following category "Funds and Grants" and Request type

  • "Fishing Vessels - Exceptional Regime - 2024";
  • "Aquaculture - Exceptional Regime - 2024";

3. Fill the forms;
4. Upload attachments;
5. Check your request summary and submit the application.
