Acquisition of fishing vessels

By succession, insolvency or determination of competent entities for the purpose

At any time of the year.

Vessel Owners, Heirs, Donors, Judicial Entities.

The request for the acquisition of the vessel for the transfer of ownership is made through a form, available under "Perform Service", and can be delivered to the General Directorate of Natural Resources, Safety and Maritime Services (DGRM), by hand, via CTT or by email to: mail.df@dgrm.mm.gov.pt.

  • Photocopy of the updated Title of Ownership that identifies the engine (main) for which the applicant applies for the subsidy;
  • Identification document, where the signature of the person with the power to perform the act can be proven (*);
  • Photocopy of heirs' license;
  • Document that proves the legitimacy of ownership of the vessel;
  • Copy of tax identification card (individuals);
  • Permanent certificate of the company, or availability of the access code (legal persons).

(*) To be sent only in case it is impossible to visit our services in person to prove the same.

No cost to the applicant. The authorization is valid for a period of 90 days, counting from the date of the respective communication.
