Order No. 43/DG/2025, establishes management measures for fishing with dredges in the South Western Zone.
Order No. 29/DG/2026, of April 30, which suspends the prohibition of fishing with dredges provided for in subparagraph c) of n.o 1 of article 3 of Ordinance No. 199/2023, of July 11, in the South Zone.
Order No. 30/DG/2026, of April 30, establishes the prohibitions for fishing with dredges for the year 2026 for vessels in the North Western and South Western Zones.
Order No. 42/DG/2026, of August 20, establishes the prohibitions for fishing with dredges and hand dredges for the year 2026, in the South Zone.
Periods of prohibition of fishing due to biological reasons:
North Western Zone
- South of the parallel that passes through the northern limit of the Captaincy of Aveiro (40º 56.0 N) - from May 1st to 31st;
- North of the parallel that passes through the northern limit of the Captaincy of Aveiro (40º 56.0 N) - from June 1st to 30th.
South Western Zone
- From Albufeira Lagoon to Sines (ZPB - L6) – from May 1st to 25th.
- From Nazaré (ZPB - L4) to Albufeira Lagoon (ZPB - L5b) – from May 26th to June 20th.
South Zone
- Between September 1st and October 15th.
Mandatory landing at the following ports:
North Western Zone
- Matosinhos - from May 1st to 31st
- Aveiro or Figueira da Foz - from June 1st to 30th
South Western Zone
- Sesimbra or Nazaré - from May 1st to 25th.
- Sesimbra, Setúbal or Sines - May 26th to June 20th.
