You must apply for the renewal of your recreational boating license within the last 30 days of its validity (and up to the day before your birthday).
For example, if you need to renew your license before you turn 70, you must do so by the last day you are 69 years old. The license expires on the day you turn 70.
The deadline for processing the renewal begins 30 days before.
You must renew your recreational boating license every 5 years from the age of 70, and every 2 years from the age of 80.
Once its validity expires, you can still renew your recreational boating license by successfully completing an exam to be requested from the DGRM through the BMar.
It may be required by:
- holder
- legal representative of a minor (parent/guardian)
- representative, provided that he / she is provided with a power of attorney for the purpose
- representative of an entity, on behalf of third parties, provided that they have a declaration of constitution of representative or proxy of the holder and declaration of legal representative of an entity
Online application submission:
- Register and authenticate yourself;
- Go to the New Order menu, select the Recreational Boating Order Category and the Order Type "Yatchman's Licence Renewal";
- Fill out the form, upload the attachments, verify the information and submit your order.

- Statement or power of attorney by the holder (mandatory document to initiate the process)
