When it is justifiably impracticable to carry out the review within the prescribed period. (Up to 12 months)
It can be requested by the owner of the vessel or by a legal representative (service providers, associations, shipowners, companies...)
The application is submitted online through the Balcão Eletrônico do Mar (BMar):
- Go to www.bmar.pt, register and authenticate.
- Go to New Order, select the Order Category "Vessels" and the Order Type "Extension of overhaul of marine evacuation systems".
- Fill in the required data. Indicate, in the free text box, information that you consider relevant about the order.
- Check the information and submit your request
